Note About the Family Crest

It is noticeable that, on the early crests of Cooke Otway and Col. Henry Otway (Templederry Church), the wings on the crest lie flat. By 1884, the wings are upright as on the crest of Vice Admiral Robert Jocelyn Otway D.L.
