We are avid wildlife watchers and enjoy wildlife photography too. During trips to Scotland we have seen many different species, and since moving up here we have discovered many more, including buzzards, ospreys, highland cattle, the ubiquitous sheep, deer, red and grey squirrels (the latter are extremely tame in the Edinburgh botanical gardens!). We have seen quite a few adders too. Entemologists wouldn't be disappointed either - we've seen all sorts of interesting insects, including elephant hawk moths, hummingbird moths and many other butterflies.
