Mark was born at 9:25am in Farnham hospital on the 17th June 1972. Living with his mother after his parents' divorce, he followed his sister to local schools in Grayshott (Haslemere Infants), Alton (Wooty County Junior School) and Shepperton (Saxon Primary, Thamesmead Secondary). In 1988, the first year of the new GCSE exams, Mark left school with 9 good passes. He went on to Brooklands Technical College, Weybridge, taking 'A' levels in Computer Science, Maths and Physics, passing them in summer 1990 and securing a place at Cardiff University to study Computer Science. Mark now works as a web developer, living in Scotland with his wife Beth and their 3 cats.
