Clive Selwyn OTWAY attended Karaka and Tauranga Primary Schools, then Tauranga College, Takapuna Grammar and later Sacred Heart College, Auckland, where he gained University Entrance. On leaving School, Clive joined the National Bank of N.Z. at Tuakau and served at Newton, Whangarei and Kaitaia Branches before becoming Accountant at Te Awamutu, then Newton, and returning to Tuakau as Manager in 1973. He is now Manager at Tokoroa. A keen cricketer and rugby player, Clive later took up table tennis and served in an administrative capacity in several clubs. However he now enjoys researching the histories of N.Z. motor passenger services.
Clive married Eva Mary Norvill whose parents were dairy farmers at Titoki (Northland). Clive and Mary have a daughter, Carol Marie, who attended Pukekohe High School, later working for the Tuakau Borough Council office staff, but now with the Auckland Savings Bank at Otahuhu: and a son. Paul Selwyn, who also attended Pukekohe High School and is now attending a training centre at Tokoroa following temporary positions as a school groundsman and a general yardhand. Paul is a keen railway enthusiast.
